Every donation, large or small, is very important to our program. We work hard to maximize the return on our limited funds. Since our inception, Rebuilding Together Seattle has been able to turn every dollar donated into over $4.00 of much needed home repairs.

RTS accepts donations through employee giving programs (such as Microsoft, Honeywell, and Boeing) and also accepts matching gifts and stock transfers.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
Material costs are our largest expense every year. RTS greatly appreciates new materials and appliances, and accepts certain used items.

RTS accepts (used) household appliances that are 3 years old or less, and in excellent working condition. Most items can be picked up or delivered to our warehouse and our donors are offered 100% tax-deductible receipts for their contributions.

ANNUAL REPAIR PROGRAM DONATIONS
In June 2010, RTS began a new Annual Repair Program to help more clients with quick safety repairs at their homes. RTS welcomes donated items for our new program, such as:

• Smoke detectors
• Grab bars
• Light bulbs
• Handrails
