Our Programs
Rebuilding Together Seattle provides donated repair services to homeowners in need, as well as non-profit facilities. RTS's area of coverage spans from Tukwila to Everett. At this time, RTS does not serve homeowners/facilities east of Seattle or west of West Seattle.
RTS accepts applications year-round. If we are unable to repair your residence or facility during one of our annual program days, we will hold your application to consider at a later time, such as the next closest program day.
ANNUAL PROGRAM EVENTS
SPRING REBUILDING DAY (Last Saturday in April)
Rebuilding Together Seattle's biggest program event is our Spring Rebuilding Day, also know as National Rebuilding Day. RTS partners with numerous sponsor and volunteer groups to complete over 20 rebuild projects in the greater Seattle area. RTS repairs both homes and non-profit facilities. In 2008, 26 homes and community centers were repaired and rehabilitated. Over 500 volunteers donated more than 10,000 volunteer hours completing over $400,000.00 market value repair work.
FALL REBUILDING DAY (First Saturday in October)
RTS's second biggest program event is our Fall Rebuilding Day. RTS repairs approximately 5 homes and/or non-profit facilities.
SUMMER PROJECTS
RTS completes several projects throughout the summer. In 2008, RTS partnered with Bike & Build, Pepsi, HSBC, and SD Deacon to complete remarkable improvements at 3 homes and a local school. RTS hopes to pursue more summer projects in the future.
