Meet the Team

Caleb Marshall, Executive Director

Caleb joined RTS in 2013 after seven years at KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit with a mission to create great play spaces and increase children’s access to play.  Along with three years of service in the Peace Corps, Caleb brings experience in volunteer and project management, community engagement, and program development.  Caleb believes strongly in the capacity of volunteers to strengthen our communities, and bringing them together to address our basic human need for housing security in order to grow and sustain Seattle in an equitable way.

In his free time, Caleb enjoys the many outdoor activities our area offers, as well as more sedentary pursuits such as watching football and playing board games.

Ramiro Vargas, Events and Communications Manager

Ramiro joined the Rebuilding Together team in the Summer of 2023, relocating to Seattle from the Boise, Idaho area. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 2020 with his BA in Broadcasting and Digital Media, and brings experience in community engagement, social media and marketing communications, and other non-profit work. Engaging with people in meaningful ways has always been important to Ramiro, and he is excited to serve his community as a part of RTS.

In his free time, Ramiro enjoys going to concerts, listening to vinyl records, and collecting all kinds of vintage pop culture memorabilia.

Sam Wyllie-Cain, Program Manager

Sam joined the Rebuilding Together team in the Spring of 2023.  He moved to the Seattle area in the summer of 2021, and prior to his move to Seattle, he taught middle school humanities. Since moving to Seattle, he has worked in the building and solar industries for local companies.  Drawing upon his six years of working in education and more recent construction experience, Sam is excited to work for an organization committed to serving its community.

In his free time, Sam enjoys mountain biking, skiing, cooking, and playing cribbage.

Abby Goff, AmeriCorps Program Coordinator

Abby joined the Rebuilding Together team in January 2024. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with a BA in psychology in 2022. After graduating, Abby spent an academic year teaching English in France, and now she is looking forward to gaining experience and knowledge in the non-profit space.

She is excited to be a part of an organization that is committed to creating safer, more livable spaces for all people. Through this work, Abby is looking forward to growing in her understanding of how she can most effectively serve and advocate for the communities around her.
