This year, our Rebuilding Month extended into October! We were so happy to have Greenpoint Technologies back with us for another year of rebuilding. Greenpoint spent their Saturday, despite the smokey conditions, transforming the front yard and walkway of home in Ballard. Thanks to an awesome team, our [Re]Builders were able to fix this home up and make it easier for the homeowner to maintain.

Removing brick path and replacing with new even pathway

The Homeowner: Jean
Jean was a participant in RTS programs in 2018. She inherited the home from her mother in 2011 and has been living there with her husband and daughter since then. Her husband is a U.S. military veteran and was recently diagnosed with cancer. Between caring for her daughter and husband, Jean found it hard to maintain the home. She was very excited to learn that the Greenpoint team would be helping to take care of some of the tasks that she has had trouble with. Jean was very grateful for every member of the Greenpoint team that leant their Saturday to helping their neighbors.
